Who can participate in Mission Manitou?
• This is not an entry level experience. So, what does that mean? Simply- we start hot and end even hotter. Any person who is ready for God to breathe into their lives may participate. Please consider the individuals that will be a part of your group. If you feel a white hot atmosphere of deliverance, prayer, worship and prophecy will be received by them, then by all means sign them up! This is an event for desperately hungry people. • Adult events: This is for people over the age of 18. Groups smaller than 20 may be combined with other groups, singles or couples. • Youth events: This is for people in junior and senior high school. One paid leader over the age of 21 per five youth is required. You will need to include at least one male and one female adult participant. Do I need to stay all week?
Yes. Due to the progressive nature of the week, it's critical to arrive and leave on time.
What if we have additional adults who want to participate?
Adults in excess of the “one adult participant for every five students” are welcome to attend. We would also encourage additional adults to apply for volunteer roles at camp. Registration fees are waived for volunteers and there are a variety of roles they may be gifted to serve in. Volunteers can find out more information and apply by calling (719) 201-1028.
What if someone doesn’t meet the eligibility requirements?
Anyone arriving at Mission Manitou that doesn’t meet the age requirements will be sent home at the expense of the parent or guardian.
Are Mission Manitou events well supervised?
Absolutely.
- Each service site is supervised by at least one adult.
- Adults are assigned to sleep in classrooms with their youth groups.
- Participants are not allowed in the sleeping areas of the opposite sex.
What about safety?
Safety is a high priority at Mission Manitou. We take careful precautions to provide the safest possible conditions. The following is a list of safety rules we enforce at every Camp:
- All staff is pre-screened with background checks.
- Close adult supervision is built into the M2 program, and youth leaders are asked to bring only responsible, service-oriented participants who will commit to working safely and responsibly.
- At least one adult is present at each event site.
- Only licensed adult drivers listed by their churches as “designated drivers” are allowed to transport participants to and from event sites.
- Local medical facilities and services are identified before M2 begins. Directions and phone numbers are provided in first-aid packets to each team in case of emergency.
- Every participant (adult and youth) must review the Code of Conduct. This promise is designed to set expectations of behavior as we live in a Christian community for a week. The Code of Conduct will be followed or participants may risk being dismissed from the camp. Travel costs to go home will be at the expense of the adult, parent, or guardian.
What about insurance?
Each participant must bring a copy of an insurance card if available for identification at the camp.
What do registration fees cover?
Registration fees are per person. Fees are listed in U.S. funds. Registration fees include a variety of programs and events including (length of stay will determine how many special events will be included):
- Lodging at Revolution House of Prayer, a local home or another facility.

- Program materials
- Organization and administration by our professional staff, as well as coordination with local partners

Where do we stay?
Participants bring air mattresses, sleeping bags, or other bedding to sleep in the ministry or house of prayer member homes. Sleeping quarters may be shared with people from other groups. The facilities may or may not be air-conditioned, so please plan accordingly. Showers are available and meals will be eaten at Revolution Church and at local restaurants.
What’s a typical day at a M2?
Days are usually quite full, from morning to evening. Breakfast will be made available in the morning and the first corporate worship event will usually begin at noon. The rest of the day will include prayer walking, a trip to Pike's Peak and other events. Evenings are usually dedicated to lengthy prayer and worship. The day usually ends around midnight. One evening we will be praying in a cave until well after midnight. Other meals will be fit comfortably between events. Click here to view a sample five-day schedule.
