First off, to John, and Everyone at Revolution Church, THANK YOU.
Thank You for being faithful to what God had birthed in your hearts, and speaking every word the He gave you. We went there with the intent to serve you guys, and just the opposite happened! I know that I speak for all of us when I say that.
I guess the easiest way is to give a tad bit of my background to you.
I was called to be a Preacher early in my life. I kept on a path that was going to lead me to do just that. I had it planned out to go to school and become some kind of Pastor with my old church and life was going to be grand. I honestly was excited and almost everyone in my school knew what I was doing and they respected that. However, in 11th grade I got involved with a band (It was Christian!!) and I put my ministry on the "Back Burner". It wasn't only my band that I could blame it on. I had let spiritual leaders in my life lead me to do other things which were good for me, but it wasn't my TRUE calling. So for 4 years now I have used my band as a cover up, and convinced myself that, "This is what God wants me to do." That pretty much sums it up!!!
When we went into "Prayer in a Cave", I wasn't prepared for what God was going to speak to me (not that we ever are ready!!). During the time of repentance, I realized that I had been seeking the approval of man for WAY to long. I also realized that I was holding past hurts against my former Pastor that I didn't even realize I had. God also made me realize that I fell short every time my band did a concert.
God revealed to me that I should have been preaching his word at every concert. I got all the garbage out and I really felt empty. I wasn't quite sure what I was supposed to feel, but there was a void there. I was praying for guidance in what to do and no sooner John says, "You should feel an emptiness inside"!!! Thank You Jesus, for that guidance! So then we prayed that the Holy Spirit would come fill that void. Let me tell you HE DID! Then God began to speak things to me, and I was prepared to receive. God gave me the direction that I needed to finish what he had birthed within me so many years ago. Just as God always finishes what he starts, I have to do the same.
That all leads me to this, as of the winter semester I am headed to Bible College to complete the work that God birthed within me. I don't know which one yet, so please everyone that reads this pray for that direction to come to me. I plan on definitely continuing with my band, because music is one of the major influences on my life and I thoroughly enjoy playing and singing. From what God has told me so far, I will probably be a preacher that goes around and sings and preaches. That really makes me excited. I can't wait to see what God has in store for tomorrow, because it can only get BETTER.

Once again to John and Revolution Church, Thank You. We walked away spiritually equipped to face the challenges of the enemy, and we also walked away with LIFE LONG friendships. This was an experience that God ordained long before we even began our walk with Him.- Patrick Webb
