In 1991 God gave me the vision of taking an entire city for God. In 1998 God identified Manitou Springs, Colorado as that city. In 2001, Revolution Church was born. Manitou Springs is a beautiful city at the foot of Pike's Peak. It attracts tourists from around the world. It sits next to one of the strongest Christian cities in America- Colorado Springs. But, Manitou Springs is quite a bit different. The spiritual battle has been intense for decades. We are impressed nothing short of a revival of the fire of the Holy Spirit will be enough. God's looking for some fire breathing Christians to advance the Kingdom of God in this city, in your city, in this nation and around the world! The primary strategy is deep and continual prayer. Your experience at Mission Manitiou will include this daily- and it will include whatever is birthed in this prayer! Deliverance, prophetic words, repentance, brokenness, boldness, vision, dreams. The Word of God will come alive like never before as our faith and the revelation of the Holy Spirit fills our hearts. While the battle is intense, we also know that as believers, we have the opportunity to experience continual joy! The vision statement of Revolution House of Prayer is, "Making it easy for people to thoroughly enjoy God." This becomes possible as we press in hard, smile a lot, discover freedom from bondage, worship with passion, pray with faith and declare the absolutely amazing and thrilling Word of God! Being a Christian is so much fun! You will be spiritual warfare missionaries. God has designed Mission Manitou to give Revolution Church and the other ministries in this area increased fire power. On other missions trips you may find yourselves digging ditches, painting walls, ministering to children, feeding the poor. All of that is wonderful and powerful.
